NG³ New Generation, Natural Gas, France – originally foundet in 2008 to develop solutions for LNG carriers, NG² introduced a new automatic coupling system for Shore Power Supply (Cold Ironing) of Ferries in 2009. In 2010 the ferry ‘Color Magic’ and the quay in the port of Oslo were succesfully equipped with the PLUG shore power system, followed by ‘Color Fantasy’ in June 2012 and the port of Kiel in May 2019.
