Variable Speed Generator

  • The LNG / Diesel Generators of CAT or MaK make can operate with variable RPM.
  • ‘AC Grid’ will therefor have variable frequencies: 50 to 60 Hz or 45 to 65 Hz or 40 to 60 Hz.
  • The variable frequency grid will have direct impact on RPM of propeller, when using the STADT Lean Propulsion® solution.
